they are ideograms. they are not a direct representation of the spoken language . your argument is totally baseless. Many symbols correspond not only to one phoneme or syllables, so how come are they a direct representation of the spoken language? i (and all linguists in the world) totally disagree with you .

well the good thing about chinese is that the verb never changes, none of that conjugation crap like in japanese. But the writing, yea...that takes some work there

@omegaweapon116 Like japanese? I took japanese lessons in school some months ago and I found the grammar very easy? Though it's maybe because im swedish and the grammar is more alike :p
