For anyone who is interested in the facts behind the media spin, and who cares to learn more about the victim of this terrible murder - Meredith Kercher - there is an excellent discussion boardPerugia Murder Fileas well as an interesting blogTrue Justice For Meredith KercherThese online resources are not for profit. Anyone can read and/or participate and people from around the world do. They have followed this case since November 2007.

Why is Meredith Kercher's family "pleased with the verdict"? If there is so little evidence that Amanda had anything to do with it why would they be pleased she was found guilty.

Any attempt to compare convicted murderers like Knox and Sollecito with the great scientist Galileu Galilei at any level is, to say the least, an outrageous intellectual dishonesty. The same can be said to any comparison made between a prosecutor of a democratic state like PM Mignini with a religious Inquisitor!Only a vermin of the lowest level could make such remarks!

MikeNube apparently ignores basic historical facts: Italy, as a country, didn't exist during the Inquisition. The Inquisition was carried out by the Caholic Church in many countries. Italy only became a nation on March 17, 1861, when most of the independent states of the peninsula were united by Giusepe Garibaldi under king Victor Emmanuel II of the Savoy dinasty. |
