i agree with you but what is sad is that you and some other people are saying are gettings thumbs down alot which means there are tons of people out there with the wrong opinion and those people are all playing incorectly and videos like this one are only making more of those people.

you're right but alot of people don't know this so im glad you posted it. people think you are forced to shoot the solids if you made a solid on break first but that is not true. what if you look at the solids and there is not alot of good shots but there are alot of options if you go for the stripes and you are allowed to do that. and it makes sense too.

Tournament rules? lol! There are tons of sets of different rules because there is no one governing orginization for pool. The APA, the largest orginized amatuer league, says that you are what you make. But the majority of tournaments that good pool players play, play under BCA (or similar rules, ACS, etc...) that allow you to choose either stripes or solids regardless of what you have made on the break.

i agree with doubleeagle once you break no matter what balls you make you have choice to shoot whatever ball you want
CaptainGinger1989(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
haha you guys are clueless... thats not how to play.. ans he breaks like a girl
doubleeagle11(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Now some people play that if you pocket a solid or stripe on the break, then that is what you have to shoot next,,Ok, fine.. I can live with that.. But, like real242 stated, you have to then pocket the same ball in order to be that for the rest of the game.. If you miss your shot after the break,, Its OPEN table still.. Either way,, either style,, you guys are playing incorectly,,no big deal,,but your teaching people this,,thats wrong!! |
