FYI alot of these tricks have been around for a REALLY long time. Some between 30 and 100 years. Nothing new here.

Before you guys get too crazy a lot of the artistic pool shots adopted by Mike Massey and others were invented by a legendary Japanese player named Yoshikazu Kimura. Kimura was featured on espn once or twice and many times referred to when an american player uses one of his shots. However the guy in this video is not on Kimura's level, not even close. Tomomi Mekari is the Japanese 9ball champ, and beat Mika Immonen last year in the US open. So lets quit being stupid and racist here.

Seeing someone comment about the mediocrity with anger and saying that its Americans' arrogance that doesn't allow us to "think properly" which is silly. Let's see, how long did it take the Japanese to copy our music? Blue jeans at one point were so expensive there it was pathetic. I'm sure you think the Japanese rule in baseball becasue you have a few players actually make the pros here. I've heard ignorant Japanese tell me your baseball is just as good also. How funny.

The only semi-difficult trick this guy performs is the one where he jumps a ball into the balls on the bottle. I've seen players stack two balls on top the bottle and knock out the middle ball while the top ball falls down and stays on the bottle. THAT is tough. Simply knocking them off and having them go into that setup direction is not. Seeing that big of a crowd in admiration over such mediocrity is awe-inspiring.

That's where you'r wrong and you should take some time to watch some artistic pool in the U.S. The shots you see above are shots seen 20 years ago and all are nothing more than setup shots. And yes, I can perform most of these shots and any above average pool player can. It's funny I don't see a great deal of Japanese players in the world tour. I do see great players from the Phillipines though.

Japan USA, they seem so far behind you guys? Their technological advances is far ahead of any country in the world, your arrogance unables you to think properly and maybe its not the most difficult trick shot in the book but can you do it? I'm pretty sure 95% of youtubers can't including you so go back youtubing more interesting vids.

The first shot he did was invented by the late great Steve Mizerak. The shot was called "just showing off" and was performed in one of his famous miller lite commercials. Just givin' some credit where its due..
