Just about any US Institution is just fueled by propaganda...look at the IIHS and the NHTSA, compared to foreign crash testing institutes they're just helpless.And lets not even mention the FDA...yuck...The EPA regs are very lienient despite what they're trying to save and what they call themselves...Hell, it's still legal for cruise ships to dump toxic waste into the ocean!

Most people don't know that almost all our water has MTBE (gasoline additive). My water has MTBE which is over the EPA limit. The EPA told me I had to prove what gas station is leaking & if I found that out, the Oil Company would provide me with bottled water. Bottled water can have 20 PPM, my water has 8 which is over the limit for well water. Have not heard from the EPA for 5 months now & the Fed is cutting back on the EPA Budget. Nice Huh!!!

As we keep increasing our population the oceans rivers and streams become the easiest places to get rid of industrial and house hold wastes. To say nothing of non point pollution from fertilizers,car truck drippings, and all the chemical ooze we discharge regularly. We have no choice but to pollute then consume our own waste products. Profits before environment is the corporate mantra. It is not likely to change. Sad as that is.

If it weren't for 'scientists,' there would be no technology, and we would be living in the dark ages, hunting our own food and sleeping in huts. Computers, tools, engineering, cities, telephones, plumbing, health care, surgery, cars, trucks, trains, airplanes, roads... wouldn't exist.Scientists are not a single entity, sharing the same opinions. If you actually think that, that is laughable. An applied chemist has nothing to do with an evolutionist.Who said the world would end in 2000?
