La Ilaha Illa Allah - Khudi Ka Sirr e Nehan :Kalam i Iqbal

Translation and meaning:-Khudi ka sirr-e-nihaaN La ilaha Il AllahKhudi hai tegh-e-fasaaN, La ilaha Il Allah...The secret of the Self is hid,In words "No God but He alone".The Self is just a dull-edged sword,"No God but He", the grind stone. Yeh daur apney "Braheem" ki talaash meiN hai Sanam-kadah hai jahaaN, La ilaha Il Allah....An Abraham by the age is sought To break the idols of this Hall:The avowal of God's Oneness canMake all these idols headlong fall.Kiya hai tuney mata'a-e-gharoor ka saudaFareb-e-sood-o-ziyaaN! La ilaha Il Allah...A bargain you have struck for goodsOf life, a step, that smacks conceit,All save the Call "No God but He"Is merely fraught with fraud and deceitYeh maal-o-daulat-e-dunya, yeh rishta-o-paiwaNd Butaan-e-wehm-o-gumaaN! La ilaha Il Allah....The wordly wealth and riches too,Ties of blood and friends a dreamThe idols wrought by doubts untrue,All save God's Oneness empty seem.Khird hui hai zamaan-o-makaan ki zunaariNa hai zamaaN, na makaaN! La ilaha Il Allah....The mind has worn the holy threadOf time and space like pagans allThough time and space both illusive "No God but He" is true withal.Yeh naghma fasl-e-gul-o-laaleh ka nahiN paabaNdBahaar ho key khizaaN, La ilaha Il Allah....These melodious songs are not confinedTo time when rose and tulip bloomWhatever the season of year be"No God but He" must ring till doom.Agarchey but haiN jama'at ki aasteenoN meiNMujhey hai huq'm-e-azaaN, La ilaha Il Allah....Many idols are still concealedIn their sleeves by the Faithful FoldI am ordained by Mighty GodTo raise the call and be much bold.

Well Said, I would like to see that Pakistani businwssmen & all other expatriates should pay fair amount of taxes & donations so that Pakistan does not have to borrow from any country of the world . they cannot impose their will to opress our own people.

Muslims are the cream of all the creation. They want to live in peace with all the nations of the world but can not lay back on invasion of their countries religion or culture. they do not want tobe imposed upon nor thwy like tobe told in their countries as to how they live life, so back off all those so called western counyries & usa.

Iqbal has explained the meaning of Kalmah Pak viz a viz our responsibilities in the universe. Yeh maalo daulate duniya are mere eyewash, the REALITY of this world is that only Allah exists and His existence is not dependent on anybody else, Whereas our existence depends upon Allah's will. Man is so blinded by the material world that he forgets the physical reality of matter: matter in the last analysis is immaterial .........be it the String Theory or the more known atomic theory . so one needs to see beyond matter :The Creator of matter and not just matter....May Allah help us to do just that ...Ameen
