in the sense that it's improvisational, you could compare to jerry. however, wayne krantz's chops extend very far past what jerry accomplished, and i think the improvier's OS is a testament to that. i'm not belittling jerry's playing, im just saying that wayne krantz is so much more fun to listen to than jerry's.
