All these players are so cool... I'm the only Yankees fan in may family, I've been a Yankees fan before i knew what players were being payed. Loved them basically all my life. Hard to do that living on the west coast.Go Yanks!

Hopefully, but be prepared. We have no one being prepped to replace Rivera. I say we should try to win two more world championships over the next ten years. The competition is much tougher these days and other teams are stiff negotiators in trade talks. Be psyched for the new decade, but also be cautious.

Why is it more satisfying to grow a team? It certainly isn't satisfying if the team loses constantly...i.e. Pirates...Nationals...Mets...Rays...etc. Stop buying into the cliches that most non-Yankee or non-Red Sox fans agree with. There is no right or wrong approach...every team has their own. You should respect it instead of being closed minded just like many other fans of the MLB.
