I work for family law attys. I see 10, 20, 30+ year marriages fall apart. My own marriage didn't last but it was amicable. I've been diagnosed with HepC (I'm part of the Hepci Generation!! Har!) and being in my late 40s, I know I will never ever ever have another relationship. I have great friends & a very loving family, I enjoy my work, I adore my cat, I have my hobbies. I don't miss a relationship that much, and having had a lot, some very serious, it's OK; that part of my life is done.

I am going through a painful separation and now divorce. I thought I found my other half, but it didn't work out....she was controlling, verbally abusive, and angry.
