Your statement is inaccurate and uninformed. While it's true that there are competing schools of thought - and behaviourists in particular refute psychoanalysis as an efficient type of therapy - the foundations of all fields of psychology hold the basic tenets of Freud's teachings as valid.

In America and England we all say, "Drink someone under a table" or whatever. Basically "out-do" someone. When she said "eat her under a table" they probably meant for them to be sexual. It was kind of silly if you ask me.

It's not an american saying, but 'eating someone' has a sexual meaning, which is why everyone was laughing. Kate meant Cameron can eat a lot but she made it sound like Cameron did something x-rated to her. |
