Dat ez true.A responsible owner with a caring soul, can benefit nature by 'petting' some animals and help them safely reproduce.Besides having a cute animal around keeps u company and grow feelings. That's important. Is capybara somehow related to Nutria ?

Agree, there are a lot of stupid people who say that having a capybara as a pet is bad, but at the same time they surelly have a dog as a pet. At least the capybara is far cuter and easier to maintain compared to a freaking dog or cat.

Looks like a mini hippo with fur everywhere!

I would really not want to be around if that thing decided to get pissed off. Can you imagine how bad a 4-foot-long rodent would fuck somebody up?!
myoon87(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Why are you so ignorant. Yes, they're supposed to be in the wild but because they are pet now they don't have to worry about food or predators. They'll always have owners that will care about them. We might take away something but give them a lot too. They're not on endangered species list. Go cry to PETA |
