JessyYSSEJ i agree with you completely, and also something else why do you think the only people that are country in your opinion are people who work on farms yes that is a big factor with alot of people that live in the country but you dont have ot be a farmer or work on a farm just to consieder yourself country im not saying im 100% country but im still up there no i dont farm my grandpa did and we still have all the land but just cut hay and have cows now but i dont consider that farming

i love this song i ride horses and stuff all the time i have 500 + arce farm i have chickens and horses and goats cows and a donley and i am really country to the bone

AMEN!!! ripc8269 just cuz you dont work on a farm dont mean you aint country you gotta look at how you were raised and that kinda stuff....i just wish my grandaddy "Babe" Lawhorn didnt have to give up all his land way back when, he had over 150,000 acres of pure huntin land down in south FL he said back then there were deer as wide as trucks....but i aint like that now just wish it still was like it was back in the good ole days.

I see where your coming from but understand where I come from. My great grandfather farmed, my grandfather farmed, my dad farms, I will tell you they are 100% country to the bone. But these days people claim they are country cause they work on a farm for a day or 2 it means nothing. To many people these days think they are country but they aren't. I don't classify me as country. But I help my father and farm 500+ acres which is small compared to real true blood farmers. that's my view.

i have been attacked by a bobcat chopped cotton and if you are truly a country girl you know what that means. did not miss a weekend of hunting in the past 6 years done a lot of things people who do not know country thinks country but i would not consider me country i agree with ripc8269

ripc8269 not trying to pick a fight but in my opinion you have a lot to learn. The girl obviously loves the way she lives. Better her get the land and use it than it just be wasted. So what if everyone likes to hunt and fish? That doesn't mean it isn't country anymore. It's just like everything else...people with a passion for it are the real deal, no matter what they or their mom is like... I love this song; it was played at my uncles funeral and it fit him so well.

abbycountrygirl you have a lot to learn... Just because you are the only one that likes the land doesn't mean your gonna get it all. Respect the land and enjoy it while you can... But you are not a country girl sorry. Riding horses doesn't mean anything.. Anyone can hunt and fish... hunting and fishing is no longer country. Everyone and their mom does it. |
