There is one we learned about in school that is a type of fungus, if an ant eats it then the ant gets infected. The ant moves to higher ground and dies. The other ants have to get rid of it fast because while it's up there, this big thing grows out of it's head and releases spores onto the ground below it. Usually this kills the entire ant colonie.

@cradleofilth100Too late. Toxoplasmosis is a cat parasite that makes the infected mammal like cats. For mice and rats, this is a one-way trip back into a cat so the parasite can reproduce some more. In humans, it causes crazy cat ladies with their hundreds of cats and house full of cat poop.
