that was not a clean hit late more then 1 second after he shot the puck, shots to the head are going to be banned next season, there was no elbow, it came up after the hit and he's head was up not down for your information, Neil blindsided him ...which is cheap....

@kill3rKaleta i am from Canada but sadly I have to agree with you
exv152(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
That's a clean and legal hit. Hey Drury, keep your head up!
exv152(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@kill3rKaleta - invade Canada? Is that the American solution to everything, invade? And then you wonder why the world hates your country?
Gamer9678(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
one last point you can tell his elbow was up because in the replay as he skates away from the hit his elbow is still up. They teach players not to check with their arms out for this very reason, you lower the shoulder. That makes the hit harder, less chance of injury to both players, and also NO PENALTY
Gamer9678(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yeah because drury has eyes in the back of his head and there wasent obvious elbow to head contact (in second angle) or anything. How else would he have a cut on his head?

He's making a fucking pass...enough of this shit of "keeping his head up" anyone who has played any level of hockey knows you cant keep your head up all the fucking time ESPECIALLY when you shoot or pass the puckAnd unless Drury has eyes in the back of his fucking head you can't see a blindside hit thats why its called a BLIND - SIDE hitBTW it wont be a clean hit according to the NHL as of June 2010 |
